We wanted to share a preview of what Mary has been working on — incorporating printing with rust and dyeing with indigo, a new process she’s been exploring. Mary will be showing her new felted textile work - rooted in texture, memory, and felt’s ability to express the magic of a moment that words often cannot convey. Here’s the recipe if you want to try it Old Fashioned Milk Paint. 4-parts black, 3-parts federal blue & 2-parts slate. Finish is organic linseed oil, beeswax and pure turpentine.
